Confirming the buzz that has been circulating for months, Celine Dion announced today that she will be returning to Las Vegas in March 2011 to begin a three year residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The brand-new show designed exclusively for The Colosseum will premiere on March 15, 2011 and features 31 musicians, consisting of a full orchestra and band.
The show’s concept will be one-of-a-kind, centered on capturing the romance of classic Hollywood movies and performed with a stunning visual presentation.
Tickets for the first 54 performances from March 15 through August 14.

Las Vegas, Nev. – The Stratosphere Hotel, one of the most recognizable icons on the Las Vegas Strip and one of the most recognizable names in NASCAR® history join together to present the “Dale Earnhardt Foundation Celebrity Poker Tournament.”
The Dale Earnhardt Foundation’s mission is to continue Dale’s legacy through charitable programs and grants that sustain his lifelong commitment to children, education and environmental/wildlife preservation.
NASCAR® fans can support the foundation on Thursday, February 25 in the Stratosphere Theater of the Stars Showroom at 4pm. Kerry Earnhardt, eldest son of NASCAR racing legend and seven time champion Dale Earnhardt, will host the tournament.
Nationwide driver and TV personality Kenny Wallace will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. Kirk Shelmerdine, a former crew chief of Dale Earnhardt’s race team, will attend the event.
Other drivers scheduled to appear are Casey Mears, Matt Crafton, Regan Smith, Aric Almirola, Eric McClure, Todd Bodine, Mike Bliss, Scott Lagasse Jr, Andy Ponstein, Danny Efland, and many others including car owner Tommy Baldwin.
According to Teresa Earnhardt, “Dale would be honored to know that so many drivers and fans have come forward to participate in this exciting fundraising event that will serve to benefit his designated charitable programs.”
A $150 entry fee into the tournament will be donated to the Dale Earnhardt Foundation. F
ans will not only have a chance to play poker, but they will also be able to meet their favorite drivers, collect autographs, and win cash or valuable driver merchandise.
The Grand Prize winner will receive $2,500 in cash, Dale Earnhardt souvenir merchandise and a one year VIP account with iRacing.com, the premier online racing game. Additional prizes and silent auction items include autographed items from Kerry Earnhardt, Dale Jr, Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne, Hermie Sadler, Jeff Burton, Clint Boyer, Martin Truex, Jr, Marcos Ambrose, and David Reuttiman. UNLV Performing Arts Center Welcomes The Band of the Irish Guards with the Pipes, Drums and Dancers of the Royal Regiment of Scotland Feb. 28
Las Vegas, Nev. – The UNLV Performing Arts Center welcomes The Band of the Irish Guards with the Pipes, Drums and Dancers of the Royal Regiment of Scotland at 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 28 as part of the Charles Vanda Master Series. Formed more than 100 years ago, the Band tours worldwide and has been recorded extensively, but its main duty is to play for the Mounting of The Queen’s Guard at Buckingham Palace and for state ceremonial occasions.
There is a fine tradition in the British Army of bands providing musical support to troops on active service. It engenders a unique esprit-de-corps and during both World Wars the Band regularly travelled to active service areas in order to give morale-boosting performances to the troops. During World War II in particular, the commitments of the Band had so intensified that its strength was increased to 65 musicians.

Singer to Perform New Single “Acapella” at Eva Longoria Parker’s CityCenter Hotspot on Friday, February 26
LAS VEGAS –Singer and songwriter Kelis will debut her new single “Acapella,” produced by industry legend David Guetta, at Eve nightclub on Friday, February 26.

LAS VEGAS – New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) adds a second performance to their spring dates at The Pearl Concert Theater inside Palms Casino Resort. A show on Friday, May 7, 2010, at 8:00 p.m. has been added to the previously announced date of Saturday, May 8.
