Coined the Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas will offer more in leisure and entertainment options than ever before in 2010.
New shows include a residency from renowned country singer Garth Brooks – emerging from a nine-year retirement to play at the Wynn – and a new Cirque du Soleil show at Aria, one of four new hotels and a world-class shopping district that will make up the city’s ground-breaking CityCenter resort.
With new daily, direct flights to Las Vegas from London Heathrow with British Airways, as well as daily departures from London Gatwick with Virgin Atlantic, getting to Las Vegas has never been easier.

Singing sensation Garth Brooks steals the stage at Wynn Las Vegas
Las Vegas is country music heaven in 2010. Garth Brooks, one of the best-selling solo artists in history, has come out of retirement with a series of concerts beginning 11 December at the Encore Theatre, Wynn Las Vegas.

Las Vegas kicks off new partnership with USA Sevens Rugby
The new home of international Rugby Sevens, Las Vegas will host top teams from around the globe in February 2010 for the USA Sevens Rugby Tournament. The event will be held at the 36,000 seat Sam Boyd Stadium and features the cream of the crop of international Rugby Sevens teams including Australia, New Zealand, England, Argentina and Fiji, plus the USA Eagles and Series champions South Africa.
CityCenter Resort; a resort like no other
This dazzling, $8.5 billion ‘vertical city’, located between Bellagio and Monte Carlo resorts on the Las Vegas Strip, will debut a new era of resort experiences. Conceived to become the new ‘core’ of the Strip, CityCenter will be a welcoming environment for people to gather, relax and have fun.

Cirque du Soleil’s new show Viva ELVIS heralds the return of The King to Las Vegas. Performed in a custom-made theatre at ARIA Resort & Hotel, Viva ELVIS promises to celebrate the life and music of Elvis Presley.
Marking the 75th anniversary of his birth on 8 January, fans can also enjoy The King’s Ransom Museum at Imperial Palace, an exhibition of Elvis’ personal memorabilia including his 1977 Lincoln Continental and stage wardrobe.
