The Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas, which is set to open early next month at CityCenter, has revealed details of its spa.
The sunlit facilities will measure 27,000 square feet and span the seventh and eighth floors of the property.
The spa will feature a Shanghai 1930s Art Deco design.
Guests will be encouraged to arrive 45 minutes prior to their scheduled treatment to experience a variety of thermal experiences in the men’s and women’s spas.
Water facilities will include vitality pools, steam rooms and ice fountains. There will be five different Experience Shower options with choreographed light, water and sound functions.

Additional amenities will include the Laconium Room, a heated relaxation room with contoured, bench-style seating and temperature-controlled Tepidarium chairs.
Spa suites will include the Couple’s Suites (Bamboo, Chrysanthemum, Orchid and Plum) with private steam showers.
The Green, Red and White Dragon Suites will offer private steam showers and personal soaking tubs.
All suites will offer two treatment tables, personal wardrobes and vanity areas.
Appointments can be booked in blocks of time called Time Rituals, with a two-hour minimum recommended.
Intended to restore a natural state of equilibrium and attend to the body’s specifics needs, Time Rituals are tailor-made for individual guests.
The Spa will also offer treatments exclusive to the property, including Mahjong Balance, a two-hour session focusing on pressure points and energy centers; the Luminescence Massage and Body Treatment, which uses pearl powder; and Lucky Eights, which is designed to revitalize tired eyes and feet using reflexology.
Group-oriented programs also are available.
Groups can book interactive sessions, such as yoga, pilates or meditation classes, as well as sessions with experts.
The spa also will offer the services of a tea sommelier, a dream coach and personal trainers. Additional facilities include a co-ed hammam, a rhassoul for women, a Chinese foot spa, a salon, a fitness center, and a group exercise studio and a spa boutique. Adjacent to the fitness center will be the two outdoor lap pools, 20 cabanas and the Poolside Café.
