Embassy Suites Hotels unveiled the “Requests Upon Arrival” program available for all guests.
This program further personalizes guests’ experience by giving them the opportunity to order complimentary or paid in-room offerings, services, snacks and beverages even before embarking on their trip. By ordering these items or services online prior to check-in, “Requests Upon Arrival” saves guests time and frustration by eliminating the need to ask for amenities after they arrive in their suite.
Through the program, guests are able to plan ahead with just the push of a button and have amenities like extra towels and blankets, baby cribs and snacks waiting for them in their two-room suite.
The Embassy Suites “Requests Upon Arrival” program features offerings in three different categories:
Complimentary, Food & Beverage and Miscellaneous. The “Complimentary” category consists of items like extra pillows, towels and blankets. “Food & Beverage” offerings are customized to each participating hotel and range from snacks and non-alcoholic beverages to decadent, tasty desserts.

Newly reunited New Kids on the Block bring their 2009 tour to The Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort on Saturday, July 11, 2009.
Teen sensations New Kids on the Block grew up and reunited in 2008 for a massive tour which included sold out stops around North America and even spawned a New Kids on the Block cruise. The group which originally hit the pop scene during the start of the boy band craze in 1986 and hit major success with Hangin’ Tough in 1988. The group, after coming back for a brief stint at NKOTB, disbanded in 1994 and many of them went on to begin solo careers in music and acting.
In 2008 the group released The Block which debuted at #2 on the Billboard charts. The new album included the hit single “Summertime” and a new crowd favorite “Click, Click, Click.”

Artist Info: The Zac Brown Band got their start on the road, playing more than 200 shows a year. Renaissance Las Vegas to Reward Meeting, Event Planners

The Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel has created an incentive program for meeting and event planners. The Las Vegas hotel deal, which is effective until March 31, 2009, will reward planners who hold a meeting or event before Dec. 31, 2009.
Planners spending a minimum of $7,500 in actualized revenue will have their choice of a $250 gift card at consumer electronics store Best Buy, or complimentary Internet service in a meeting room, valued at up to $400.
Planners who spend a minimum of $15,000 in actualized revenue will receive either a $750 Best Buy gift card, double Marriott Reward points or complimentary Internet in a meeting room or guest room, valued at up to $750.
Additional meeting planner incentives include the “pampered planner” program.
The first tier incentivizes the planners for a minimum booking of $5,000, resulting in a suite upgrade for the meeting planner.
A reservation of $10,000 results in a suite upgrade as well as a $200 dining card, and the third and final $15,000 tier rewards the planner with a suite upgrade, a $200 dining card and choice of massage at a partnering spa, valued at $300. Event packages also are available at the Las Vegas business hotel.
