Hard Rock Las Vegas’ New Joint

Paul McCartney will headline the grand opening weekend of The New Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas on April 19.

The New Joint inherited its name from the original Hard Rock venue.

It will double in size while keeping the same atmosphere of the original venue and will carry on the up-close-and-authentic feel with the furthest seat in the house only 155 feet from the stage.

The New Joint will be a multipurpose facility featuring sound and lighting systems, Wi-Fi access throughout the venue, a full blogging station for press covering events, and 38 flat screens.

The $60 million project is part of a $750 million expansion of the Hard Rock, which is slated for completion in late 2009.

Tickets for the grand opening performance go on sale Feb. 14 at noon at the Hard Rock Hotel Box Office, and at the Ticketmaster banner at right, charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000, and online at www.ticketmaster.com.
