Artist Info: Bret Michaels began his musical career in 1984 when he started his own band, Paris. Aside from Michaels, all original members were soon replaced and the new group changed their name to Poison.

This legendary ‘80s rock band, playing a musical mixture of hard rock and glam metal, sold more than 25 million records and made it to the Top 40 list with 15 of its songs, including, “Nothing But a Good Time,” “Something to Believe In,” and the number one hit, “Every Rose Has its Thorn.”

Michaels released his debut solo album in 1998, A Letter From Death Row based on a movie of the same name that he wrote, directed and starred in. In 2003, Michaels released Songs of Life, followed by the 2005 album Freedom of Sound, an 18-track album that incorporates 13 new songs, Poison hits, and a combination of country and rock ‘n’ roll. Michaels currently stars on the hit VH1 reality series “Rock of Love” of which the third season is set to air January 2009.
