Southwest Airlines Vacations Vegas Cashapalooza

October 14, 2008.  Southwest Airlines Vacations has teamed up with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) to reward travel agents on a monthly basis. Agents who book a flight and hotel vacation package at least five days in advance to Las Vegas Oct. 1 through Oct. 31 for travel through Nov. 22 will automatically qualify to win one of 20 prizes.The grand prize winner, based on total room nights booked at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, will win $2,000 in Tumi luggage and Miracle Mile Shops’ $500 stored value cash card, and will be invited to the Las Vegas Luxury Travel Expo in December for a chance to win the Ultimate Las Vegas Getaway. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is charged with marketing Southern Nevada as a tourism and convention destination worldwide, and also with operating the Las Vegas Convention Center and Cashman Center.With approximately 137,000 hotel rooms in Las Vegas alone and more than 9.5 million square feet of meeting and exhibit space citywide, the LVCVA’s mission centers on attracting leisure and business visitors to the area.
