August 9, 2008   Special Room and Food & Beverage Offers Las Vegas, Nev . – The Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower is honoring the working man and woman this Labor Day weekend with special room and food & beverage offers including 20% off rooms and suites, announced American Casino & Entertainment Properties officials.

“Labor Day honors hard working Americans while also traditionally marking the end of the summer travel season. We decided to celebrate the Labor Day weekend with great room and food & beverage specials,” said Stuart Richey, vice president of marketing for the Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower.

The Stratosphere is offering 20% off sleeping rooms and suites from Monday, August 25 through Thursday, September 4. The special offer is available by calling Stratosphere Room Reservations at 1-800-99-TOWER and mentioning the “Labor” special. The “Labor” special is subject to availability and cannot be combined with any other offer.

Lucky’s Café will offer special BBQ chicken and BBQ baby back ribs dishes during the Labor Day weekend. The BBQ chicken and the BBQ baby back ribs will both be served with baked beans and corn for $10.99 each. The Labor Day weekend specials will be offered from Friday, August 29 through Monday, September 1.

All Stratosphere casino bars will be offering a special, three-layered “Patriot” drink during the Labor Day weekend. The drink consists of a red layer- strawberry daiquiri, a white layer- piña colada and a blue layer- blue curacao piña colada for a special taste sensation. The “Patriot” drink will be served in souvenir plastic hurricane glasses for $7.50 from Friday, August 29 through Monday, September 1.
